Having lost work during the 2008 financial crash, and the pandemic, it has been incredible eye opening to see how the job market has changed. We are in a unique period of time, where the hangover of the pandemic has forced employers towards a digital approach almost regardless of their sector, and the UK is experiencing a serious dearth of digital skills across programming, IT and communications. This has translated into some of the most aggressive recruitment I have experienced.
